Fly fishing is an art for live

james green 7’9″ 5wt 3pcs

This is a James Green 7’9″ 5wt 3pcs Spring Creek

The rod has a sweet medium action and a great rod.

After building a lot of rods, this is the first time I could not decide what hardware I should use. So the new owner can decide which one he will take. The polished brushed brass or the blued brass. The insert is from Japanese Camphor burl. To get a nice result it needs at least 20 layers of tru oil. The Ritz grip is flor grade cork. This is all turned in house.

For guides I used one of the latest bronze Original Snake Brand guides and a bronze with brass Golden Witch stripping guides. All wrapped with Kimono silk in color minto and and some tipping in the Yamame color green.

This rod will come soon for sale including rodtube and rod sock for € 575,00 / $ 610,00 without shipment. For more info check my website www.yamameflyrods.com or soon via www.alternativetackle.com
