Proto Yamame The Pure 7′ 3/4wt

Proto Yamame The Pure 7′ 3/4wt

This is a new proto of The Pure and fully parabolic what hopefully will be ready for production end of the year.

I am a huge fan of the craftsmanship of Paul H. Young and Bob Summers. On my proto I made a modern version of the rod they build in 1968.

The butt off the grip is made of birds eye Maple with a aluminium ring in it.

I tried to match the butt and the Kimono silk wraps (co

lour chopsticks) in the same colour of the cork grip.

The stripping guide is from Mildrum and the guides from Snake brand Original. Grip and reel seat are made from flor grade cork. All hardware, wood and cork are turned in house
